Hi Lita,
I have a way to get some fur, a picture and a check to you.:)
I would like to begin with my 3 year old cat Fleur who was diagnosed positive with Bartonella and was so sick. I will start with this concern. Thank you for the info on the raw food diet- I will continue chipping away at it- this morning I put some little chicken liver pieces in with the muscle meat and they pretty much ran screaming the other way:)-

Thank you for the visual of your cats pretty much running screaming the other way. It feels good to laugh. Hang in there. It will be worth the trouble. I look forward to working with you and your chicas. Thank you.

Hi Lita,
I have been adding raw free range chicken bit by bit and the older kitty is accepting it quite well- the little one will nibble a bite or two and then chow kibble.
Everything you say makes perfect sense- all the wheat and corn and fillers are not natural or good for us either, it cant be good for the carnivores. I did a metabolic typing test about a year ago and found myself to be a protein type that does not do well on grains or sugars and I dont want to make my cats sick by feeding it to them.
I have some books coming from the States with some raw recipe diets in them. I will consult with a homeopathic vet here as well.
Your work sounds very interesting- I will send you some photos over the net for both cats-

Maybe you could give me more ideas after looking at the photos and I could reaffirm that your suggestions coincide with the homeopath here.
All of the info you gave me makes alot of sense and I appreciate it so much. In all honesty, Im skeptical about sending the photo and if that would work from here but want to do good things for my two little chicas:)
Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon,
H.

I can give you a basic recipe for meals: for every one pound of protein you need 2 ounces of veggies and 2 ounces of water. Mix well. You should add some calcium if there's no ground bone in the protein. Proteins can be ground chicken, ground beef, ground turkey, ground lamb, ground venison, ground rabbit, ground cornish game hen. Depending on what if any health issue you are trying to address you can choose from this list of vegetables:

Carrots
Romaine lettuce
Chard
Sweet potato
String beans
Broccoli (limited)
Beet greens (not bulb leafy tops)
Pumpkin

Veggies can be very helpful with inflammation, detoxing, and suppressing over activity. I can give you which veggies and proteins might be a good place to start with your "chicas" but I need their picture.

My fees are $150. for an in depth analysis of the animals constitution. $60. for an approach that is specific for an obvious concern. $30. for each suggested homeopathic remedy. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Please consult whomever you are comfortable with. Sometimes I agree with Vets. Sometimes I don't. Most of my clients are looking for alternative approaches to their pet's care. Perhaps you can exchange emails with some of them. Most of them came to me because they were unhappy with the results they got from doing what the Vet said to do. I don't believe in disputing with Vets. The owner has to make the decision on what to do. I only make suggestions. Again, you are there with the animal. You are the judge of what you are comfortable with.

Thanx,
Lita

Hi Lita,
Thank you so much for your response. I would be interested to know more about energy work- can you explain how this works from here in Bs.As?
Again, everything you said has helped alot and been very reaffirming. Im going to consult with the homeopathic vet tomorrow and will start to add some good quality raw meat or chicken to their kibbles.
Thanks again,
H.

Hello,
I hope you can wean your cats off of the kibble at some point. Cats have very small kidneys. They are carnivores that originated in the desert. There isn't allot of water around for them to use. So "mother nature" created them to survive on the liquid in the prey that they eat. They were not designed to eat grain, which is the largest content of a kibble food. They have a tremendous need for water on a kibble diet. Large amounts of water over work their kidneys creating lots of stress on their urinary tract in general. Not to mention all that grain turns to sugar, too much sugar for a carnivore.

Are you familiar with Kinesiology (muscle-testing) or Radiesthesia (pendulum testing)? I employ vibrational techniques for selecting herbs, glandulars, homeopathic remedies, and or flower essences to assist the "body" in maintaining a healthy balance. I believe dis-ease is an imbalance created by the food we eat, the environment we live in, and or the stress we experience on a day to day basis.

Through out my life I felt the desire to narrow the process of selecting what was the best thing for my body. I've spent so much money and taken so many supplements only to realize I was not accomplishing my goal. I became very tired of guessing or having a practitioner tell me what to take to improve how I was feeling only to realize there was a better choice. About the 1990's when I was introduced to feeding raw to cats I was exposed to radiesthesia. That was after being exposed to kinesiology in the 1970's. About 2001 I earned a Certification in Homeopathy at American University of Complimentary Medicine. In 2005 I took an Energetic Medicine class at the same school. That course helped me combine the different modalities of health balancing I believed in with radiesthesia. I want everyone to have a great experience with alternative approaches to health so it is important that it be a positive one at the start. Vibrational techniques or energy work help to "narrow the playing field". The short story is, in energy work we try to match energies that will enhance each other. No point in taking something only to lose time figuring out it was not a great choice.

I hope this answers your question. I need something - fur or a picture of the animal or person I am making suggestions for. I can also match energies over the phone if the subject is present during the phone call. Energy is telepathic. It is not limited by space. It is like radio waves. It just knows where it belongs. Thanx.

Lita

Transglobal Homeopathy, Health and Healing for animals pt. 1

This blog entry is an email correspondence that I wanted to share, between myself an a woman in Argentina.

Helena's email correspondence p.1 of 4

Hi Lita,
My name is Helena. I'm living in Buenas Aires, Argentina with two cats Fleur (3 years) and Bug (9 years old) both are spayed females rescued from the street.

Last week Fleur woke up like a different animal. She was completely lethargic and refused food - completely unlike her usual active self- no vomiting or diarrhea, just completely out of it. I took her in to the vet and they ran a blood test. The results came back positive for Bartonella and Fleur is now on the antibiotic Doxiclina. The test also showed that her white cells were very low. I have to take her back in for a follow up when the antibiotics are finished and the vet also suggested I have her tested for possible immune disorders. I'm really scared but will of course follow up and get all the tests. She has never been sick a day in her life, not even a sniffle! I have had to board them sometimes when I travel- they go to a cage free boarding facility, the woman knows them there and they have had contact with other cats there. If the cats are social and interact okay she lets them hang out together so long as they are vaccinated and not showing any signs of illness.
My question is have you had good results with cat illnesses and homeopathy? Also I would like to put my cats on a raw food diet-but they mostly refuse any raw treats such as meat, fish or chicken- they are both real kibble addicts. Both eat Science Diet original adult cat food. Any suggestions on diet and how to switch them over?
They are both vaccinated with the triple and rabies shots. They have access to a small garden but go out only when I'm at home and are always in at night. Bug has received leukemia shots up until 5 five years ago but I stopped because she was the only cat at the time and I heard they caused sarcomas. Fleur was never vaccinated for leukemia. I lost a cat to vaccine shock and am wary of over vaccinating. Neither one was ever tested for immune disorders. Bug the older one was in bad shape when I found her 9 years ago, suffering from a bad respiratory problem that involved lots of snot and has had a problem with gingivitis and tooth loss from any early age. I brush her remaining teeth and gums with CET pet toothpaste - the vet here told me the problem ties with the cold she had when she was little. She is big and strong though and has never been sick since. Both are under Advantage flea control and they were wormed 5 months ago, I used Profender.
There are a few homeopathic vets here and I plan on consulting with some of them as well. V. spoke so highly of you and suggested I get in touch with you. Any help, suggestions, or info would be greatly appreciated. I love my cats very much and want to do what's best for them. I'm very worried about my little Fleur- she has never been sick before- although nervous and shy by nature-she was always the picture of cat health:)! She seems to be doing a lot better and eating again.
Thanks,
Helena - Bug and Fleur's adopted mom

Hi Helena,
Nice to meet you.
Cat's on raw food have better blood test results than cat's on commercial food. Cat's that are fed a home cooked diet are healthier than cat's on commercial food. I recommend making their food because at least you know what's in the food.
I'm not a doctor. I'm a certified homeopath. Cat's do very well with homeopathics. All animals as well as people respond well, even fish and plants do. Even if your cat's insist on the kibble they will be healthier with homeopathics than drugs. I've been able to improve lab test results for horses that the Vet said were dying. Homeopathy is an amazing science. Remedies can "mop up" some of the damage caused by drugs or vaccines.
I don't believe in vaccinating on a regular basis. Between the advantage or pest control, the medications, and the vaccines it is too much for "any body" to deal with. To make things harder, animals are much more sensitive than people are. Medication doesn't really cure a situation. It masks it by pushing the problem deeper into the system. If we give the "body" the necessary resources it will do a better job of controlling problems in the system that any medication.
To acclimate your cats to raw just start putting a minute amount of raw meat on top of their kibble or in a dish right next to their food at meal time. Start out with 1/2 a teaspoon and see how they respond to the raw meat. Keep doing this so they get the idea that you want them to try the new food. Be careful not to overwhelm them. Under no circumstance do you want them to stop eating. Be mindful of what you're thinking in this process. Animals do not speak a language. They read thoughts. They are very intuitive. That's how they survive on their own. So it's important to control you reactions and thoughts when trying to get them to do what you want them to do. Some cats convert right away because they have been outdoor cats and they have experience with raw food, being natural hunters. Some cats are a real challenge to convert because they instinctively only eat what they are taught to eat. These take patience on the owner's part. Just know they can be retaught.
Lastly, I do energy work because animals cannot tell me where I should start to look. I need some of their hair/fur or a photo of only them in it. The fur or picture will help me connect to their energy. I match their energy with supplements or remedies that "compliment" their energy.
I hope this answers your questions.
Lita
